Verse 13 seasons verse 14 beautifully. This has become so powerful & alive to me, "I am still confident of this, I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord, be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." ~Psalm 27:13-14 God 1st showed me this verse (as in it leapt off the page) when we were hiding in the hallway, in a civil war, in Rwanda (April 1994). We weren't sure we were going to make it out alive. But when I read this verse, I felt God saying He would deliver us. Then through the many hard California years, God would remind me of these verses. I must say, by 2009 I didn't believe anymore, not even a little bit, I think. But for whatever reason, God is making streams in the desert. He IS showing me His goodness, as though for the 1st time. I am glad to be alive. I am glad to be your mom. His Word is truly a lamp for our feet and I am enJOYing It & Him for the 1st time in many years. God is good, all the time. ~Bethany's Mama
